TRADITIONAL HEALERS WANT TO MISLEAD US
Sir,
It doesn’t mark a new era for Swaziland when traditional healers told citizens of this country that they were contemplating compiling a new Bible which will be different the one with 66 books.
Instead of this being a new era, it can be a bad omen in the sense that it can be a bad omen.
Many Swazis are going to be deceived by this notion and it should not even be called the new Bible but they should call it a new publication compiled by traditional healers of the country.
This is a trick aimed at teaching us about ancestors. The existing Bible is 100 per cent perfect for us and we do not need about information prior to Genesis.
Genesis tells us about the beginning of life, how the heavens and earth were created; and it further talks about how man was created and there is nothing faulty about that.
I believe that the traditional healers want to mislead congregants so that they desert their good churches and join them so that they can make money in the form of offerings and tithes. Why teach about ancestors? Traditional healers always complain that the Bible does not have the word ‘mandvulo’ in it.
This word is not needed because John 1: 1-3 says in the beginning there was the word and the word is God and all things were created by Him.
Funny questions like where did God come from are not necessary and we should take the word of God as it is. You do not need to add or subtract anything that concerns the Bible and this is confirmed in the book of Revelation 22: 19.
