BE POSITIVE, HAVE FAITH IN GOD AND YOUR ABILITIES

Sir,

Kindly allow me to share with your readers some very inspiring thoughts I discovered in a discarded Portuguese magazine, Prestigio.

I was so downhearted  and weighed down heavily with the trials and tribulation we constantly encounter these last days, when I stumbled upon the discarded magazine and boy! As I read through it , my spirits were lifted and the writer Fernand Martins, who does life coaching had this to say:

when we manage our thoughts, we control our actions. the action takes place when our thoughts are in tune with our feelings. when we  think that we can develop a certain action and do not doubt that it will happen – it will happen!
however, for our brains to be coordinated , we have to focus on objectives and not in lamentations or dwell on past mistakes. if we dedicate a lot of our time and energy everyday thinking on what happened of the past, lack of money, the relationship that did not work, we are waisting our thoughts and energy: then we are thinking negatively and wasting our energy on what does not matter and sadly no time is left to focus on what matters.
develop an action plan: write on paper what are your objectives, your purpose in life, what good you want to happen to you.

When we think defeated, we cannot find the key to the solution of our problems.
Negative thoughts result in negative results. as you write an action plan, please do write in the present tense as if you already believe that it will happen. above all – have faith! Spend at least 30 minutes a day visualising what you want and tell yourself that you have it.

You will feel motivated, happy and the possibility of achieving your goals will begin to grow more and you get to manage all actions and thoughts.

WHAT LEADS TO
DYNAMISM?

Be flexible. Know how to get around problem or adversity when it arises. Be skilled and know how to manage conflict.
When factors we less like arise we have to learn from them, make the experience positive.
Do not be in the habit of falling into a predictable routine –doing one and the same thing everyday. Have the courage to change; change the sequence of your daily actions.
When our brains are trained to change and accept change, it is much easier to manage.

Feel motivated, do not just work for the money at work but because you enjoy your job.
I f we perform the function we love, we are halfway to success. You cannot expect to be a good teacher if your passion lies in architecture for instance.
Work with pleasure and allow the pleasure to wash over you and invigorate you.
Finally  from me, life is all about successfully overcoming your trials and tribulations. God never created any of us for the specific purpose of suffering on this earth. From me personally, as many readers who have read my writings in this newspaper in the past, i implore my readers to have unshakable faith in the god of the universe.

never ever put the blame squarely on god for human suffering, god is love and he wants to see us progress successfully in life. sadly we don’t involve him in our plans. we trust in our wits. he knows what is good for us, for pete’s sake!
i always insists (and the bible is testimony to that) that without faith in God our lives are doomed.
I have gone through many trying times since I lost my job two years ago but hey, my faith in God has sustained me. Let us lift up our hearts to the hills and watch hope, trust in God that our help lies in His infinitely capable hands.
I have edited some parts of the quoted writings because of the grammar. Hope this cheers you all the same!
