BE LIKE A PRICELESS DIAMOND

Sir,

Is it not quite impressive how we tend to appreciate something when it physically appeals or when it succeeds and reaches that end goal?
Consider a diamond for example; no one pays attention to it in its purest form.

It may appear exquisite when it’s been carefully shaped and polished but the process endured should be where its value begins; one which would lead to its polished lustre and unmatched natural strength.

We cannot begin to understand the airy beauty of something or someone until we have understood those moments in their lives that have led them towards that conclusion of success. Ever had your dreams trampled on? Where you are either ignored and left alone in your pain or discouraged to the point where you begin to doubt yourself.

The moments where your impurities are amplified are those moments where you feel pain.
You feel as though you are cornered and nothing can be done to improve your situation, but you still wake up the next morning knowing you want to succeed but you don’t want the effort required.

Life will cut you into pieces if you let it. But like that diamond, sometimes you need a little heat to burn off those impurities and begin getting chiselled, it is painful but necessary.
Push towards your goals, success earned is not achieved easily.

We need to dream big and not sink to an inner cesspool of regret and self-pity. God did not waste His time designing you.
Comfort is such a dangerous zone in life. It’s necessary now and again but parking there will lead to stagnation. Notice the king and queen within you and not wait for someone else to find you and point it out to you.

You may feel as if you are in a dark corner, wrapped in impurities and darkness but all eventually subsides, what will be left off you? Will you emerge better or will you submit to decay? Endure pain, while you plan and implement your way out. Embrace your circumstance and plan your way out of it.

Do not sit idly and await a miracle; create your own miracle. Your attitude is most important, your decision to endure and grow is much more important. Become that refined diamond not that block of carbon you were originally found in.
