PASSION OR EARLY GRAVE

Sir,

It bombshells me sometimes to  discern what, and in what manner people think really, but I marvel if I can refer that to the ageing or to every animate soul. Each of us was born for a certain purpose, not to mention the inimitability of temperament and character.

Some people think human beings are analogous, that’s a definite no no! If we were the same then why are other humans short, tall, vary in complexion? Some of us are lethargic cats and a lot of people I know think we make ourselves to become lazy, and I sat down and thought how can that even be possible. I think laziness is natural and I hate anything that has to do with manual, physical work, I just feel like my work should be sitting in front of a laptop and work with whatever I decide to work with and I know some people think it’s a bit lunatic.

I think when a person feels drowsy then it’s just how it is, you don’t have to overwork yourself if you feel that your body cannot do it anymore. I know that there are people who work from sunrise to sunset, who do physical work.

What flabbergasts me the most is when people expect you to grind like them. I know life is not easy out there, some people have it hard, in a way you can never imagine. Not all of us were meant to be tutors, barristers, agriculturalists etc but there are people who like farming, who practice it. The main reason I can come up with would be that they like it. Once you don’t have passion about something, then it’s highly impossible for one to do that one thing right, trust me.

You cannot be a lawyer when you are not passionate about it. Just think of the mountain of briefcases you would have to carry all around you, reading the countless Acts all night long, trying to figure out how you can save your client from falling in the deep end. On another note, it is shocking to see people fuming behind their office desks, how can that even be possible when you love your occupation, a thing that puts food on your table?

Never make people jump to your command every time you want something to be done, it’s being unreasonable and selfishly rude. Every common sensed soul always has plans for the next day.
Let people know what’s expected of them a few days before, so they can prepare.
