WHY ARE EXTREMISTS MUSLIM?

Sir,

Even though Muslims constantly claim that Islam is a religion of peace, there is no denying that most, if not all religious extremists in the world today happen to be Muslims, from Abu-Sayef in the Philippines to Al-Queda and Islamic State in the Middle East and North Africa to Al-Shabab in East Africa to Boko-Haram in West Africa!

If Islam is a peaceful religion, as claimed, one has to question what is the cause behind these Muslim extremists?
Why are they all Muslims? How can a so-called religion be associated with so much violence and hatred?

And it doesn’t end there. Christians in Muslim countries face persecution and are being murdered in record numbers for their beliefs.
Is that what Muslims call religious tolerance? Perhaps Sura 2: 191-193 in the Quran can help explain why this is happening. In fact, there are numerous such verses in the Quran calling for violence.

What kind of god needs his own creation to kill on his behalf? Sura 4: 157 explains that Allah deceived Christians into believing that Jesus Christ was crucified.
Why would Allah deceive people of the faith? According to the Holy Bible, the deceiver who deceives people into thinking that he is God is satan (John 8: 43-47).

Terrorists

While it is obvious that not all Muslims are murderous terrorists, the Quran does encourage Muslims to kill non-believers or infidels as they call them.
This applies to anyone who is not a Muslim. The God of Heaven commands us not to kill.
In some Muslim countries it is perfectly acceptable to murder people found guilty of adultery by stoning them to death, or burning alive those who bring dishonour to their families.

God tells us to forgive those who trespass against us because we are all guilty of sin (John 8: 3-12). It was for that reason that Jesus Christ was put to death on the cross so that mankind could find forgiveness for their sins and have eternal life in heaven with God.
 If Muslims wish to continue worshipping their Allah, they should do so without interfering in the affairs of Christians.
