WHEN FAIRYTALES BECOME REALITY

Sir,

Scientists and others often ridicule religion and dismiss believers as a bunch of delusional people who still believe in fairytales in an age of scientific and technological advancement. They are of the view that everything can be explained through scientific processes and that there is no such thing as supernatural.

Even though society in general denies the existence of such, many people, including non-believers, claim to have seen mysterious phenomena such as ghosts UFOs and even botokoloshi.  According to scientists, such things do not exist and can be ‘rationally’ explained as being mere natural phenomena, delusions and even mental imbalances in the minds of those who claim to have seen these things. So does this mean that those things really do not exist?

In many cultures and some religions around the world there are legends of sky gods coming down from the heavens in flying machines. Some of those entities include Quetzalcoatl (feathered serpent) who is said to have appeared to teach spiritual enlightment to the ancient Mayan people of Central America, Osiris, the ancient Egyptian god of the underworld, Enki, the god of the Nazi-inspired Aryan brotherhood and Rama from the Indian epic: Ramayana
Interestingly, all of these entities are said to be a single entity called Ningshzidda,  who is said to be an ancient Sumerian god.

Even here in Africa, there are legends about certain tribes which were created by creatures from the sky such as the Dagon people of West Africa and even the Zulus.
According to the Bible, however, satan and  some of the angels rebelled against God and were cast out of heaven. They came to earth where they interbred with humans and whose offspring were giants who were said to be extremely evil. The Bible explains that God destroyed the world in a flood to save humanity from becoming completely corrupted this satanic DNA.

According to some people, the lost continent of Atlantis, which is said to have been destroyed in a great flood many years ago, was also inhabited by this advanced race of Aryan ‘supermem’ from another world. This underworld is known to Buddhists as agharta.  Some in Africa may know it as umfaba, the underground kingdom of Jahbulon, which, incidentally, is a name known to freemasonry which originated in Europe. Could all this be a series of incredible coincidences or is there a limit to what can be considered mere coincidence?

In fact there are still some religions which believe that a great teacher shall one day return from the heavens (or the underworld) to once again guide humanity to the path of spiritual enlightment and save us from chaos and certain destruction. According to the Mayan calendar, this event began in the year 2012. Some believe it will culminate with the arrival of what they call the Christ sometime around 2022. Could this be the new reality we are now living?
