QALAKALIBOLI IS RIGHT ON EVOLUTION

Editor,

Since the discovery of some old fossilised bones, most probably belonging to an extinct species of ape in a cave in South Africa, the debate over the religion versus evolution has heated up again.

Even though people may have their own opinion, they should not avoid looking at the bigger picture. Unlike religion, particularly the Judeo-Christian religion whose origins can be traced back to Middle-Eastern regions of Asia, the theory of evolution is a relatively recent belief (in the absence of observable proof) that the universe, the planets and life somehow magically appeared out of nothing without having been created by a higher power or supreme being.

Most aspects of science require conducting experiments and observing different processes to reach proves scientific conclusions.
Evolutionary science, however, relies on the evolution of an idea, which was invented by a certain individual/s who hadn’t even had the privilege of seeing the same extinct ape bones being unearthed by scientists in South African caves. The morphing of one species into an entirely new and different species has never been observed.

Old bones don’t prove anything just as gorilla bones don’t. Religions on the other hands and Christianity in particular, not only explains the origins of everything but also give us the Creator’s living word – the bible. Until as recently as 500 years ago, scientists of the times were still uncertain as to whether the world was round or flat. But the bible supposedly written by ignorant people from the stone-age, explain that the world is round (Gen 1:6-8). Through the bible, we can find answers too many of life’s mysteries, which would otherwise be dismissed as superstitious nonsense or myths.

One such myth is the hollow earth theory. It is the widespread belief in the existence of a world within the world, or an ‘underworld’ said to be inhibited by an advanced race of beings who possess vast amount of knowledge.  Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party through occult secret societies, whose existence cannot be denied, are said to have contacted those beings. In fact, some people believe that the Nazis themselves believed that the Aryans – whom they considered themselves to be – were direct descendants of those superior beings, hence making them the so-called ‘master race’.

The Nazis referred to this underworld as Hyperborean but it is also known as Annwin-by the Welsh, Xibalba by the Mayans or Agharta by Buddhists.
I’m sure even some Swazis are familiar with this underworld. In the bible, could Rev 5:3 be referring to such a place? It is sad that the inhabitants of the underworld once lived on the surface of the earth but that the world was destroyed in a cataclysonic event, which forced them to seek refuge deep within the world.

Some people suggest that this is evidence for the Atlantis myth – a continent said to have been inhabited by technologically advanced people, which was swallowed up in a large flood and now lies beneath the oceans.  The bible, however, tells us that Satan was cast down to earth together with 200 angels (Rev 12:9). These angels bred with human women who bore offspring who were evil giants (Gen 6:4).
The bible also tells us that the world had become so overrun with evil that God destroyed it in a great flood (Gen 6:5-7).

Could all this just be coincidence? In fact, we are told that Satan will be set free from his prison and will go out and deceive the nations (Rev 20:7). Could this already by happening? And how does all of this fit in with the theory of evolution? It doesn’t. If anything is a myth, it is the evolution delusion.
