GEGE CONSTITUENCY OFFICE SHOULD INTERVENE

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

Sir,

When there is a crisis within a constituency, when there is an outcry within the constituency, I believe the office of the constituency must intervene and engage all the stakeholders.

The level of education in our constituency is very poor and embarrassing. Our children finish school and sit at home because their results are a mess.

Indeed a number of things can contribute including the behaviour of teachers who are failing to respect themselves here.
Who are proudly turning restaurants into boozing places, who are proudly doing things that are negative and totally out of their mandate and profession. The number of dropouts are very high.

In our constituency we are an academic embarrassment in front of the people we call teachers. Why is this? I want to say the office of the MP  must intervene and do something. I believe this intervention can change the situation.

Our MP is popularly known as a person who listens and behaves as a person who was elected by the people, unless he has changed without us noticing.

But we still trust in him. As a constituency team they can sit down and forge a way forward to improve the level of education in our area. As citizens we won’t sit back, while things are not going well.

We will follow every negative step and clean the constituency, it’s high time. Gone are the days when civil servants got posted to the rural areas and behave the way they feel like, NO! People must behave, respect their profession, asidlali.
