WHEN FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS ABUSED

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

Sir,

Following the ongoing debate and resultant misunderstanding in the South African Parliament I see an example of the abuse of freedom of expression, especially from the opposition parties.

The issue of the Public Protector’s report, as far as the issue of Nkandla is concerned, has divided the SA Parliament dramatically.
Their conduct makes me doubt the intentions of the opposition parties. What is happening now is a good example of how these political parties are playing the man instead of the ball.

There is nothing constructive they are saying or doing instead they are preoccupied with singing ‘bring back the money’.
As a young person who is following this it makes me honestly doubt political parties and their effectiveness.

To me opposition parties are an embarrassment. I pray my brothers and sisters that you stop learning and idolising such abuse of freedoms, they are wrong.
