MBABANE - South African Aerobatic Champion Nigel Hopkins will be the highlight of the Swaziland Airshow set for Saturday.

The event will take place at the Matsapha International Airport from 10am to 5pm.

The Airshow has for the past years been one of the most anticipated events in Swaziland; bringing aerobatic and aircraft displays from across the world.

The last airshow was held in September of 2009 with enormous success.

Breathtaking

This year is no exception as Hopkins is known for his electrifying breathtaking display like you have never seen before.

Organiser Lyndon Hermansson said to spice up the action; Good-year Eagles will perform a three formation aerobatic display and Danie Terblanche will do an amazing display in his R44 helicopter.

"We will have amazing Jet displays in a L29 and a L39 Jet, and for a blast from the past, we will witness Jeff Earle display his 1920s Tiger Moth bi-plane; a once in a life time pleasure that locals cannot afford to miss," he said.

Variety

There will also be Helicopter Joy Rides for E220 per ride, Go-Cart Rides at only E20 per ride, as well as children slides and a variety of kiddie games. It will be fun and exciting for the whole family.
