MBABANE – John Ndlangamandla, the Executive Secretary of the Civil Service Commission, has been transferred.

Ndlangamandla, in an interview yesterday, said he had been redeployed to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development as Under Secretary.

At the ministry, he succeeds TJ Dlamini, who has been moved to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade headed by Jabulile Mashwama.
“I got my letter of transfer on Friday,” he said.
He said the letter was endorsed by CSC Chairman Mntonzima Dlamini.

The transferred secretary said he was due to report to his new duty station next week.
“I’m currently winding-up my business at the CSC,” he stated. “I’m also expected to perform the official hand-over to my successor.”

Ndlangamandla said he had accepted the transfer with no qualms, saying it was procedural for the government to reshuffle its employees.
He was confirmed as CSC Executive Secretary sometime in 2004, taking over from retired civil servant Edith Fakudze.
CSC Chairman Dlamini confirmed Ndlangamandla’s transfer.
Dlamini said Allen McFadden would keep the fires burning as executive secretary on acting basis. McFadden’s substantive position is that of CSC Deputy Secretary.
