MBABANE – It’s E40 to watch the eagerly-awaited SwaziBank Cup pitting the country’s soccer heavyweights, Mbabane Highlanders and Manzini Wanderers next Sunday at Somhlolo Stadium.

SwaziBank Cup Committee secretary, Johannes ‘Ace’ Soboza said the decision to charge the E40 entrance fee was reached with the inflation rate in mind.

"This is a bonus to soccer fans considering the other forms of entertainment that will be available on the day. We invite the nation to come in their numbers and early so that they do not miss out," he said.

Soboza said vendors wishing to sell their wares inside the stadium will pay E300. He warned the public that bottles and buganu traditional brew would not be allowed inside the stadium.

"We do not want people to turn these things into weapons inside the stadium.

Gates will open from early as 8am," he said.

South African Mbhacanga dance group, Soul Brothers will be the main attraction in the entertainment package with award-winning gospel group, Ncandweni Christ Ambassadors is also expected to perform before what is expected to be a capacity crowd on Sunday.

The two soccer heavyweights, Wanderers and Highlanders will be meeting for the first time in the Swazi Bank Cup final in the tournament’s six year history.
