Art pieces on auction at Royal Villas tomorrow

EZULWINI - Art lovers and collectors alike are invited to Royal Villas tomorrow to see different creations by four of the continent’s finest visual artists.

Collectors will have a change to bid for art pieces during an auction to be conducted by Mbabane-based gallery, Gallerysd.com.

Exhibition

The exhibition will go together with a dinner and art lovers will be required to pay E165 to be part of both the dinner and the exhibition.

Artists who will be showcasing their work are Mbuyisa Maphalala, a Swazi artist now based in London where he is also teaching.

Maphalala has had several exhibitions at Gallerysd.com over the years. He also had workshops for Swaziland-based artists.

Zimbabwean Lawrence Bango will also be exhibiting his work tomorrow. The Zimbabean artist is often referred to as ‘a highly collectable artist.’

Another artist whose creations will be viewed tomorrow is Majaha Mabuza who is self-taught and passionate about his work.

Showcase

Ceb’sile Dlamini who has collaborated with many a visual artist will also showcase her beadwork on different motifs at the exhibition.

The art pieces to be auctioned are all wall art. (see pictures)
