MBABANE – Mbabane Highlanders left the Sigwaca House last night in a sombre mood after Mbabane Swallows moved an urgent application to the Premier League of Swaziland (PLS) Disciplinary Committee to dismiss the protest lodged against striker, Njabulo Ndlovu.

The team made the application through their attorney Lindifa Mamba during submission before DC Chairman, Siphosini Dlamini.

The DC Chairman then told the two parties that a judgment on the matter will be delivered on Tuesday.

Information gathered by this publication is to the effect that the red and white outfit based their application on grounds that Mbabane Highlanders were diverting from the facts of the matter or the original protest. Highlanders had protested that the D-form and card were not illegitimate but the PLS produced them and were accepted by the DC.

Mbabane Highlanders is represented by Manzini based attorney Martin ‘Inter-nash’ Dlamini in the case.

"Mbabane Swallows pointed out to the DC that Mbabane Highlander’s arguments are far from the actual facts of the matter and therefore made the application to have the case dismissed," said a source.

The case has been dragging for almost a month now while the former RSSC United striker, Njabulo Ndlovu has continued to feature for the ‘Beautiful Birds’ in the MTN league games.

Reached for comment, Swallows secretary, Sibusiso Manana was reluctant to comment on the matter, only briefly stating that they are now awaiting the ruling.

Highlanders Management Committee chairman, Musa Masuku said they do not have a problem with the application made by Swallows.

"We will just await the DC ruling," he said.
