MANZINI – The identity of Moneni Pirates directors was revealed yesterday to the club supporters during a meeting held at Caritas Centre in Manzini.

It took Management Committee (MC), Mandla Motsa to officially announce the team directors after the supporters had demanded to know their identity in what turned up to be crisis solving meeting.

The directors comprised of chairman Sipho Matse, former goalkeeper Christopher ‘Tototo’ Khoza who even attended yesterday meeting, Richard Mdziniso, Mbongiseni Malinga, Sibusiso Hlandze and Mthunzi Masuku.

Motsa said he saw no reason why the board had to be kept a secret because all members of the team deserved to know who was responsible for its running.

"We had invited the board members to attend this meeting, but most of them decided not to come. It’s important that they avail themselves for such meetings so that they give the supporters hands on information on issues that need their input," he said.

Motsa said by requirement, one qualifies to be a board member by forking out a sum of E10 000 at the start of every season.

He lamented the fact that the board had not been able to strike a good working relationship with the MC up to now.
