Mtn spends E5m on sports sponsorships

EZULWINI – MTN Swaziland spends E5 million in sports sponsorships, revealed CEO, Ambrose Dlamini yesterday.
Addressing the media during a breakfast meeting at Royal Swazi Sun’s Gigi’s Restaurant, Dlamini said they support sports as a company as it is part of their social responsibility programme.
"We offer more than E5 million per year for sports. We will continue supporting soccer in a big way," he said.
MTN Swaziland spent E3 million sponsoring Sihlangu per year while E1.5 million goes to the premier league.
The mobile communications company forked out E9 million spread over three years to Sihlangu with E4.5 million going towards the league sponsorship for the same number of years.
