MANZINI – Manzini Sundowns has registered three players from its academy and they are expected to be making their debut against Young Buffaloes tomorrow.

The players have been part of the under-17 squad and have come through the under-13 and 15 categories.

The three players are Gcina Dlamini, Banele ‘Scumama’ Vilakati, and Gordon Marks son of former player Wicky ‘Saddam’ Marks.

The promotion of the players was confirmed by Sundowns’ head coach, Kenny Ndlazi, who said it is part of his plan to ensure continuity of players while he is in the team.

He said the players will add great value in the team because they have the task of ensuring that the culture of the team is carried on to the next generation.

"My intention is to put together a very good squad of future players who can carry the culture of the team to the next generation so the promotion of the three players is part of that goal. They will probably be in my team for the game against Buffaloes because I am still trying my combination," he said.

Ndlazi also stated that he is hoping to have his new signings Bright ‘Komari’ Nxumalo, Sitali Mulife, and Jose Mustafa ready for the game.

He said even though he has not been able to sign the players, he wanted to sign, he has a competitive squad for the game.

He said he will use the game to measure the outcome of games to come for his team because Buffaloes are a strong team.
