Wife humiliates hubby's makhwapheni in public

MBABANE – A married woman insulted and humiliated her rival in public at Mbekelweni by placing insultive pamphlets around the community.

*Sweety (20) who is dating Thobile Tanele Ndzimandze’s (25) husband could not believe it when she woke up last Monday to find pamphlets placed on poles along her home leading to the local shops.

The insultive pamphlets came after Sweety had received text messages (smss) from the woman she shares a man with. The pamphlets, which read as a notice to the public had Sweety’s name as the headline.

They were written as if the author was the complainant telling men in the area about her services which cannot be revealed due to their sensitive nature.

One of the sentences written in Siswati said men can call her number, which was also revealed.

After Sweety had found the pamphlets, she went to report the matter to the Manzini police who later charged Thobile with the offence of Crimen Injuria.

The two appeared at the Swazi National Court in Manzini on Wednesday before Court President Chief Ndlondlo who found Thobile guilty as charged.

He sentenced her to six months imprisonment or E600 option of a fine which she managed to pay.

In court, Sweety explained that even though she did not see Thobile putting up the pamphlets, the messages contained in them was similar to the numerous sms’s she had been getting from her.

She also confirmed in court that the reason she was receiving insults from Thobile was because she was in love with her husband.

Sweety’s witness, Siniketiwe Sikhondze said she was present in one instance where the complainant was insulted.

Thobile denied ever insulting Sweety but said it was the other way round.

She alleged that she was in the company of two women when the complainant alighted from a black car and insulted her so much that she was angry and almost assaulted her but luckily she did not. When questioned by Chief Ndlondlo, Thobile denied everything and alleged that Sweety would call her and say she was with her husband.
