MBABANE –Timothy Myeni, leader of Ncandweni Christ Ambassadors (NCA), has instructed his Johannesburg based lawyers to withdraw the E5million claim against Nosipho Daniels.

Myeni says he never at any point instructed his lawyers to file a claim or sue Daniels, a former NCA Marketing Manager.

"They did it behind my back because I was never consulted so I never instructed them to sue Daniels.

"As proof I never even signed the affidavits.

"I was shocked to learn of the story from SA media that I was suing Daniels such an amount," said Myeni yesterday.

Daniels resigned last year amidst of controversy within the group.

The Lubulini Member of Parliament said he had also phoned Daniels to arrange a meeting scheduled for tomorrow where the matter would be amicably solved.

NCA, last month, filed court papers at the Johannesburg court, suing Daniels for E5 million.

NCA had alleged that Daniels spread insults and fallacious information about the group.

They had attached two stories that appeared in SA’s Sunday World newspaper and Drum magazine.

The move by NCA was received by criticism from people in support of the group.

However, Myeni has said "People should understand this is a spiri- tual war and I won’t fight it in courts.

"If I did then I would be saying I do not need God to fight my wars."

Meanwhile Daniels, in a telephonic interview, confirmed receiving a call from Myeni about the withdrawing of the court claims.

"I have no problem with that and we will discuss everything on Tuesday when we meet," she said.
