Madze' not part of strike

MBABANE – Umbelebele Coach Harris ‘Madze’ Bulunga has disas-sociated himself from the team players’ strike.

In an interview with the coach yesterday, he said the problem was between the players and management.
He said he was not in a position to commit himself on the matter.

“As a coach, I am not the right person to comment on this matter as it doesn’t involve me but the two parties,” he said.
The team’s players hung their boots in protest over the E4 000 share given to them by the team’s management from the Swazi Bank prize money.

The players are demanding that they be given E4 800 as per their agreement with their Management that the money would be shared equally.
The players are also against the MC’s decision to keep to themselves, the Swazi Bank Cup kits and want them to be handed over to them.

They vowed that they would not resume training until they reach common ground with their leaders.
The team impressed in the recent Swazi Bank Cup where they were beaten 1-0 by Mbabane Highlanders in the finals of the tournament.
The team is expected to play Mbabane Swallows in their league game scheduled for the Prince of Wales on Saturday.
