MANZINI - Hundreds of mourners came from all corners of the Kingdom of Swaziland to bid farewell to a man who was described by many as a true patriot.
In a memorial service held at the Manzini Roman Catholic Church yesterday, Bishop Ncamiso Ndlovu said the late Muntu was an individual who was a trusted member of the church.
Swazi News did not stay long at the memorial but one notable thing was the punctuality that was displayed by the family and mourners. The service started just before noon. Mourners came from as far as the Republic of South Africa. Amongst the people who were expected to deliver a speech was Ellias Masilela and the country’s Ambassador to the EU Solomon Dlamini was expected to talk on behalf of the country’s ambassadors from abroad.
Other notable dignitaries were the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Mduduzi Magongo, Clifford Mamba, Phiwayinkhosi Ginindza from Swaziland Investment Promotions Authority (SIPA), former elections chief Robert Thwala and former Ludzidzini governor Dibanisa Mavuso just to name a few.
In his brief sermon the bishop said the church had lost a great man who worked diligently for God.
