Everyone says 2010 is a year of dreams being fulfilled and that’s exactly the same feeling that local musician and dancer Lando Dlamini has.
The young University of Swaziland student gave a sizzling a sizzling performance at the 24-hr party on Thursday night and had fans eating from the palm of her hand with her sexy dance moves and the two songs she performed were enough to convince her fans that she has really improved in the singing department.
She performed at the Afro House Floor with her two dancers and STYLE asked her after her performance if she had any plans to release an album.
“Well, I’m not the kind of person who counts her chicks before they hatch but I really have the feeling that 2010 is a year of opportunities and I have this great feeling that something will happen this year.
I don’t know what it is but I have this feeling. This year will be extra- ordinary and I’m hoping to do well in everything,” she said.
Asked to comment on her sexy outfit, the 1st lady of Swaziboy Entertainment revealed that it’s a design by Manzini based designer Chanks who has been in the fashion industry for quite sometime.
Lando burst onto the scene two years ago and became more popular last year when she became part of South African funky group known as the ‘Cheesegirls’ and even though she quit the group to focus on her studies, she is still active and has shared the stage with stars like US’ The Game, South Africa’s Bucie and many more.
She said even though she loves the stage, she is determined to do well in her studies as she knows that education is very important.
“I’m so focused on my school work and I always make sure that my singing career doesn’t disturb me at all. I also believe that God will guide me to the right direction so in everything I do, I know he’s there which is why I am sure that this year everything will go well and there’ll be lots of surp-rises.”
