Chance of a lifetime for young female artists

L’Alliance Française of Swaziland has started recording some young female artists in Mbabane.
It is the first step inorder to issue promotional compilation to support a group of ladies.

Already identified and professional, they never recorded nor have they been able to promote their songs at an international level. This project is starting in collaboration with the Swazi National Council for Arts and Culture.
The participation on this compilation is an opportunity for those ladies to market themselves.

The disc will be spread all over the French Cultural Network.
For this project, Swaziland, with the support of the French Embassy in Maputo,  is hosting Patrick Faubert, a high level French sound engineer  who already spent few weeks in Swaziland last October.

 He is assisted by Vincent Caudry who will also be in charge of the graphic of this project. Other persons and artists have already joined and offer support to this project on a voluntary basis.
The recording will be finished on January 7, 2009.

Later on, this compilation will be available on the market.
For the distribution of the CD on the local market, Alliance Française is partnering with One Circle, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) dealing with empowerment of young women in Swaziland.
