Big fun makes a big comeback at le zone

MANZINI – Big Fun Entertainment has a huge following and that was made clear during their ‘Back to school’ show at Club Le Zone this past weekend.

The show was held on Friday night and never has the place recorded such a full house before, other than during DJ Tira’s show. It was also the entertainment crew’s first event for 2010.
Forget the notion that January brings a slow down in the clubs as people prefer to stay at home and save what they have for other purposes, this was not the case this time around as patrons came out to have fun.

Most of the fun-lovers in attendance were those who had been frequenting Tinkers when Big Fun used to run shows.
Some of the patrons could not hold back their joy of having a taste of Big Fun after the crew had been in the shadows for some time following their split with Tinkers.

Many preferred to show their love and support by dancing the night away while others vocally declared their feelings.
“These guys are the best, they just do it for me every time,” said Sifiso.
Another who preferred to be referred to as Nqobile said: “I have been craving Big Fun for a long time now hence I could not miss this show for anything.”

“I just love Big Fun and I will follow them wherever they go because they are the best,” commented Mthabiseng.

Others said it was their first time in Club Le Zone and their reason for being there was none other than to have ‘big fun’.
Big Fun Entertainment’s Khulekani ‘DJ Karly b’ Mamba said: “Such an overwhelming attendance proves that we do not need international spinners to attract a large crowd.”

Mamba added that this was also an indication that they were loved by many funlovers in the country because they knew that they (Big Fun) could hold it down without a South African deejay being invited.
“We are the best at what we do and tonight is just proof of that fact,” he said.
