Times Of Swaziland: SWIMMER HOARE THIRD IN GLASGOW 50M HEAT SWIMMER HOARE THIRD IN GLASGOW 50M HEAT ================================================================================ BY ASHMOND NZIMA on 28/07/2014 05:14:00 MBABANE – Promising young swimmer, Mark Hoare, has become two-time unlucky in the pool in Glasgow, Scotland. The 19-year old was competing in the 50 metres breaststroke heats, finishing third in 33.77 seconds at Tollcross Swimming Centre, Scotland yesterday. However, his finishing time was not enough to earn him a place in the semi-finals. He needed to at least clock 29:17 seconds to make the cut. It was the same story in the 100 metres breaststroke heats as the Commonwealth Games debutant could not qualify for the semi-finals despite defying all odds to win the heat on Friday. A gold medallist in the 50 metres freestyle in a celebrated local tournament styled Ekhaya Properties Gala, the Big Bend-born swimmer looks to continue leaving a mark when he competes in his final event in Scotland today. He will take part in the 50 metres free style.
