Times Of Swaziland: ‘Moemish’ goal is worst in my career - ‘Nkomishi’ ‘Moemish’ goal is worst in my career - ‘Nkomishi’ ================================================================================ BY NTOKOKOZO MAGONGO on 15/05/2013 02:52:00 MBABANE – After a near flawless showing in his maiden season in the South African First Division League, former Manzini Wanderers goalkeeper, Sandile ‘Nkomishi’ Ginindza was dismayed to be beaten by a rather ‘silly goal’. For his blunder in his team’s Sivutsa Stars league encounter against promotion hopefuls Thanda Royal Zulu on Sunday at Moses Mabhida Stadium, the agile shot stopper was also named the ‘Moemish of the Week’ during the SABC’s popular football show, Soccer Zone on Monday. He was branded the ‘Moemish’ after letting in a long range and seemingly harmless ground shot between his legs. It was the second goal in the 0-2 defeat to Thanda. Ginindza, interviewed yesterday, however, noted that despite the blunder, his performance on the day was one of his best since moving to South Africa. He has been the first- choice goalkeeper in the team since he joined them in September last year. “Such things happen in football and you have to accept it and move on. It was the worst goal but I believe we played well despite that we lost. The game was tough as Thanda Royal Zulu are fighting for promotion,” he said. Ginindza said he has had a good season at Sivutsa and added that there was a room for improvement. Sivutsa are placed fourth from the bottom of the log and will play their last game of the season against United this coming weekend.
