It will be the turf that suffers the most when these two heavy weights clash
head-on in the quarterfinals of the Top Lotto/PLS Cup.
Over the years, the rivalry between the two, Leopards and Highlanders have
reached alarming proportions. It is no longer an ordinary game when these two
meet, irrespective of the competition. Expect fireworks again on Sunday when
they battle it out for a semi-final berth at the Trade Fair.
But two players, one from each side are likely to decide the outcome of the
game. It remains to be seen if the younger Fash from the Highlanders camp will
outshine his older counterpart from Leopards.

In a Highlanders shirt, the youngster has come off age. He has taken great
responsibility to become the team’s entrusted goal harvester.
Running as if he eats air for lunch, he seems to reserve his best for the big
stages. And surely a date against Leopards is no ordinary outing.
If on song, the Highlanders family sings along. And on Sunday, the ‘Bull’
faithful will be hoping Ndzimandze displays the devastating form, which saw them
land the Swazi Telecom Charity Cup Spectacular early in the season.
His sudden burst of speed when least expected has seen many a defender watching
his heels. Although he at times tends to tire easily, there is no doubting the
potential of this striker.
He can be the difference for his team on Sunday.

Over a decade later, Mfanzile ‘Fash’ Dlamini remains arguably the best
target man in the Premiership.
Isn’t it a wonder that the former Mhlambanyatsi Rovers silky forward
out-thinks, outfoxes and outmanoeuvres younger players who probably watched him
score goals for both Rovers and the national team Sihlangu whilst they were
still learning the finer points of the game playing regional football?
There is yet a target man in the local playing fields who can protect the ball
with the jealousy of a hen protecting its newly hatched brood.
Fash makes playing the game look so simple with his superb ball control and
confidence in front of goal.
A prolific finisher with deadly predatory instincts, Fash has graduated from
being the perfect target man to being a fantastic team player. He still needs to
work on his weight though.
