Times Of Swaziland: SIMISO KHUMALO NEW MANZINI FA CEO SIMISO KHUMALO NEW MANZINI FA CEO ================================================================================ Machawe Fakudze on 28/06/2022 07:30:00 MBABANE – The Manzini Regional Football Association (MRFA) unveiled Simiso Khumalo as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the association’s offices yesterday. Khumalo was unveiled alongside Muzi Mtsetfwa, who is the Office Clerk, by MRFA Chairman Johannes ‘Ace’ Siboza, in the presence of the association’s Treasurer Sipho Chris Dlamini, Themba Mavuso and Member Lusekwane Dlamini. Siboza revealed that the officers would be in the office starting from July 1, 2022 and their contracts would be renewed depending on how they performed during the three years. Advert “As you know that we’ve run an advert for the CEO post and it gives us pleasure as the MRFA to announce Simiso Khumalo from Ezulwini as our new CEO, as per the requirement from the Eswatini Football Association,” Siboza said. As an association, Siboza said they sat down and concluded that Khumalo was the right candidate for the job. “We hope that he will take the region’s football to greater heights in the next coming three years. “We also hope that he will scout new sponsors for us and on top of that market the region’s football to be at par with other regions in the country,” the seasoned football administrator said. He also said the MRFA Executive Committee as per a directive from the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) was determined to develop football and hiring the duo was a step towards achieving that. “On his left is Muzi Mtsetfwa, who is not new in the association as he was holding the same position on an acting basis. “Today he is taking the Office Clerk sit on a full-time position officially too. As they are young, ours is to wish them the best of luck in the tasks bestowed on them,” he said. He further said the young football administrators were well educated and they would adapt well in their new roles.
