Times Of Swaziland: WE’RE HERE TO FINISH OFF BUFFALOES – RED ARROWS WE’RE HERE TO FINISH OFF BUFFALOES – RED ARROWS ================================================================================ BY PHOLSILE HLOPHE on 16/09/2021 08:46:00 MBABANE – They are on a mission. Zambia Super League side Red Arrows landed in the country yesterday morning ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup first preliminary round second leg encounter with Young Buffaloes. The match will be played on Saturday at Mavuso Sports Centre. Kickoff time is 3pm. The ‘Airmen’ travelled using their own airplane, a 2:40 hours trip to King Mswatini III International Airport before settling at Esibayeni Logde. The visitors have a 2-1 first leg advantage over Young Buffaloes, thanks to Felix Bulaya’s brace at Heroes Stadium in Lusaka last Saturday. A draw away will be enough to secure Arrows’ passage to the next round and a meeting with CD Primeiro de Agosto of Angola. Red Arrows Communications Officer Miko Misheck, said their mission was to finish what they started by cementing their dominance over their fellow army opponents. He assured their readiness of the match as they boasts of a full squad comprising triple-threat of strikers in former Chipolopolo’s James Chamanga, Kayembe Alidor and Hope Katwishi. “We had a fantastic trip. Buffaloes have been in CAF for quite a while, but we will bring the game to the stadium. We are here to finish what we started,” Misheck said. Training Arrows will have a private training session this afternoon and get tested for COVID-19 ahead of the match. Misheck said none of his players tested positive for COVID-19 so he brought a full squad. Head Coach Chisi Mbewe named a 19-member squad for the trip to the kingdom for the second leg encounter led by skipper Benedict Chepeshi, midfielder Alassane Diarra, winger Felix Bulaya and Chamanga. New signing Edward Tembo also made the squad and would be looking to make his second appearance for the Airmen.
