It’s easier said than done, but yes, unbeaten Royal Leopard can win the title
this afternoon and play the last two matches to finish unbeaten.
Six points ahead of their only competition, Young Buffaloes, for over a month
now and unbeaten in 27 matches, have Tambuti to deal with in what can turn out
to be a very tricky affair. Tambuti were so resilient in the reverse fixture
back in April, the match finished 2-all and Leopard can attest that it was never
easy and the result could have gone either way. This time, Tambuti have the home
advantage and have already held giants Mbabane Highlanders and Green Mamba  to
1-1 and 0-0 draws before hammering Milling Hot Spurs 3-1 last weekend.

Quite a positive run for the sugar-belt side ahead of this clash, and it is one
they can believe they can win given their first round result. Tambuti know they
can become the first team to beat Leopard this season if they achieve that.
Leopard are not ready to give anything away especially because this afternoon
presents itself as one they can go home decorated as league champions. All it
will take is a win against Tambuti and then a draw or defeat for second-placed
army side, Buffaloes. If this happens, Leopard will be nine on the clear with
two games to spare, which will mean even if they went on to lose the last two
and Buffaloes win theirs, there will be no catching up with them. But if Leopard
and Buffaloes all get draws, the next game will also matter. On paper, it is
easy to predict that Leopard will win given the quality and form they are in.
Fire
Captain Muzi ‘Mzoro’ Dlamini and his teammates will aim to fire from
cylinders to ensure they walk out without a scar from Tambuti. A share of the
spoils will not be good enough for Leopard as that will mean a Buffaloes win
cuts their lead down to four with six more points left to play for but a draw
for Leopard and defeat for Buffaloes also seals the championship for the
leaders.
