Times Of Swaziland: ‘FIGA’, ‘FELA’ LEFT OUT OF SWALLOWS’ CLASH ‘FIGA’, ‘FELA’ LEFT OUT OF SWALLOWS’ CLASH ================================================================================ BY SABELO NDZINISA on 03/03/2021 08:00:00 MBABANE – It’s not the kind of news Sihlangu coach Dominic Kunene will be happy to hear. For the second week running, the two Eswatini internationals at South Africa’s Premiership outfit TS Galaxy Felix ‘Fela’ Badenhorst and Justice ‘Figa’ Figareido have failed to make the matchday squad. The Johannesburg based outfit played title-chasing Moroka Swallows in a DStv Premiership clash at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit yesterday afternoon and the two players were not in the list submitted for the match. This means they were watching the game from the stands and with less than a month before Sihlangu face Guinea Bissau in the 2022 AFCON Qualifier, Kunene cannot be blamed for being concerned given the importance of the two players in the upcoming match. TS Galaxy, now coached by former Bafana Bafana assistant mentor Owen Da Gama, have been enjoying a good run of form in recent matches, thus limiting appearances for the two Eswatini stars. Badenhorst has featured in four games for the club, scoring two goals while ‘Figa’ is yet to feature this season as he has only recovered from a nagging injury that has kept him out of action since the start of the season. Sought for comment, Kunene said they were not pressing any panic buttons despite that the two players are not playing regularly. “As long as they are training, we are not going to worry ourselves about them not playing regularly because all games have specific plans for specific players. We sometimes look for special skills for certain games and we were impressed with what we saw when the two players were in the squad. I can safely say that we are not very worried about their situation,” he said. None of the two players could be reached for comment at the time of going to press.
