SHOOTING STARS TO MAKE MAJOR SIGNINGS

MBABANE – Fresh from two major signings in Jasmine Adaquar and Elena Dasilva,
National Women League (NWL) side Shooting Stars are set to reinforce their squad
ahead of the 2020/21 season.
According to reliable sources close to the team, some of the potential targets
for Shooting Stars include Joe Wang and Farida of Lynx. Also on the list of
targets is Imichele Yemvasi’s Leko.
However, sources close to the team have asserted that Stars could make trade
deals for their targets. That could mean that they could release some of their
most priced assets to see the deal come to fruition.
Reached for comment, Shooting Stars coach Mbuso Sigudla confirmed that they were
looking to bolster their squad. “Yes, it is true that we might add two or
three more players to our squad. I cannot mention names but they will definitely
add value to the team,” Sigudla said.
When asked if they would buy the players outright or do exchange deals, he said,
“As I noted in our previous article, we might not have the financial muscle to
make major signings but we can always go for trade deals to get the players we
want,” said the coach.
