This is according to Article 8.3 (d) of the EswatiniBank Cup Rules and Regulations which were released by the tournament Management Committee (MC) yesterday. “Assaulting a referee (s) or match official (s) or club official (s), or player (s), or fan (s) or supporter (s) spectator (s) shall be punishable with a minimum fine of E25 000 and a maximum fine of E100 000. “In addition, the offending club shall be ordered to compensate the victim for any financial loss incurred due to the assault,” read the rules in part. offences Other offences that are punishable with heavy fines include failure to control someone who is misbehaving at stadia (E30 000) and causing the abandonment of a match (E50 000). The rules, on the other hand, also frown on invading the pitch in celebration of a goal. Throwing objects and uttering of obscene words are also not allowed.
