That is the story of MTN Premier League title hopefuls Royal Leopard, who are fresh from a 1-2 loss to Mbabane Swallows. Edwin Matsebula‘s men are winless in five straight league matches. They last celebrated a league win back on October 6, 2019 when they beat Mbabane Highlanders by 1-0. In essence, the police outfit have dropped 12 points in the last five league outings following three draws and two defeats. Despite the major setback, the blue and white outfit remain in the top four on the chart and they are only five points shy of the top spot. If they won all their last five games, they would be on top with 33 points. Team PRO Frank Hurube assured that the team’s loyalists that the side would turn the corner. “In football there are ups and downs sometimes, but making changes in the technical bench is the last thing in our minds. “We’ll provide all the necessary support to turn the corner,” he said. Hurube blamed the slump on lack of luck, stressing on the need to remain united to shake off the unwanted record.
