The 29-year-old will be amongst the best in natural muscle and sports modelling battle it to become the World Champion. There are over 20 countries that will be competing at the Melbourne Convention Centre, Melbourne, Australia having qualified during the qualifying competitions held in Durban, South Africa on August 24. The championships will be held for two days, October 26 and 27. Ntshakala said this was his first shot in such highly profiled match and he is happy that he had now even made to a bigger competition where he would be up against the world. He said for now he was facing financial challenges as he had to fund for the trip. He said after doing all the quotations including flights, accommodation and transport, he needs about E30 000. “It is a true come true having worked so hard at training and even getting tips from big guns in the sport including Arnold Barbosa. I would be happy if I can secure a sponsor to fund the trip where I suppose I stood to make the country proud,” he said. Ntshakala trains at Phela Live at Ezulwini. The bodybuilder received the invitational letter from the ICN Africa President Eugene Kayat. “Dear Ncamiso Ntshakala. Congratulation on being selected to represent Eswatini (Formally Swaziland), at the World Championships to be held October 26-27 at the Melbourne Convention Centre, Australia. The trip is for the athletes cost and is subject to fulfilling all requirements by the Australian Embassy,” reads part of the letter. The letter also advised the athletes to be drug free and follow the protocol as set out by ICN South Africa and adhere with the team leader to be announced soon.
