Times Of Swaziland: ZUNGU RETURNS TO ‘BULL’ ZUNGU RETURNS TO ‘BULL’ ================================================================================ BY CHRIS DLAMINI on 13/06/2019 00:46:00 MBABANE – Fans to cascade this Saturday’s Bible Society Cup might see South African midfielder Vusumuzi Zungu in the Mbabane Highlanders’ kit once again. Zungu has already been invited by the club and was expected to arrive yesterday and on time for the afternoon training session. Despite featuring in the one-day third edition of the tournament, the club, under the leadership of new director Ally Kgomongwe from South Africa, will engage him in talks as they want to have him next season. Zungu missed the last three games of the season after leaving the club following failure to address some of his grievances. He might not be the only new face for Highlanders on the day as the black and white ensemble are said to be after the services of Young Buffaloes’ Sifiso ‘Tjovitjo’ Maseko, who can play as a right wing back and also fits in attack. He appeared for Manzini Wanderers last season on loan. “Tjovitjo is a Young Buffaloes player and we can’t talk about him. As for Zungu, he’s still a Highlanders player and we have contacted him to join us for the tournament and we will also engage him in talks,” confirmed the club’s Head of Communications and Secretariat Gcina Dlamini when he was questioned about the latest reports coming from their camp. Fitness Dlamini also affirmed that it was in their plans to have Zungu available for the tournament but his match fitness will also be considered. Efforts to reach Zungu failed at the time while Tjovitjo referred questions to either Buffaloes or Wanderers. It was also confirmed that at the time of the team’s training, Zungu was still on the road to Eswatini.
