Times Of Swaziland: ‘KOKI’ LAUDS MEHLULI ‘KOKI’ LAUDS MEHLULI ================================================================================ BY SANELE JELE on 13/06/2019 00:45:00 MBABANE – His contribution as Manzini Wanderers director has been acknowledged. The hub giants head coach, Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati, has credited departed South Africa-based businessman, Mehluli Nhlengetfwa for the difference he made during his tenure as a sole director. Nhlengetfwa joined the maroon and white ensemble seven months ago and spent close to E1.7 million and in the process helped the team to avoid relegation. Vilakati said they were still crossing fingers that the director would reconsider his decision. “He has made a huge impact since joining Wanderers and everyone at the team can attest to that. He was a great leader and was passionate not only about the team but soccer. It will be very unfortunate if he eventually leaves for good,” Vilakati said. He further said life would not be the same without the South African businessman. “He was a leader and a good administrator. For the team to strive, it needs a good administrator. We still believe in him. However, if he is gone for good, Wanderers is a big team, they will have to do without him,” he said. guest When asked about the upcoming Bible Society Cup on Saturday, Vilakati disclosed that they would field guest players. “We will use this tournament to monitor some of the guest players whom we hope to sign for the upcoming season. We will be going all out to win this tournament and I believe in my players,” he said. Wanderers will lock horns with Moneni Pirates in the opening game of the Bible Cup. The one day tournament will be played at Mavuso Sports Centre.
