Times Of Swaziland: THRILLING DIXIE’S KO DRAW THRILLING DIXIE’S KO DRAW ================================================================================ BY CHRIS DLAMINI on 13/06/2019 00:42:00 MBABANE – Only one giant club in Way Inn got the easiest draw in the inaugural Dixie’s International Pool Knockout Tournament. The package is E10 000, which was taken from the E40 000 sponsorship by the sports products company. The larger chunk of the money, E30 000 to be precise, was directed to the league played under the auspices of the Manzini Regional Pool Association (MRPA) – the country’s most active and richly sponsored pool tournament. The tournament kicks off this weekend with the giant clubs going against the other while league defending champions Way Inn will expectedly have an easy one against fellow Malkerns rivals Stairs Pool Club in one of the three games billed for Saturday. The biggest clash pits army side Garrison against AMICAALL ‘Pool for health’ Knockout champions, Manzini Pool Club (MPC) in the opening game at 11am before Stairs and Way Inn at 1pm while the last match will be another tough clash between AMICAALL semi-finalists Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) and Mankayane at 3pm. Garrison have a lot of ground to cover here after they were humiliated 13-3 in league first round clash. biggest On Sunday, the clash of the day will play last, unlike Saturday’s fixtures where the biggest one opens. It’s Dixie’s League rookies France against Correctional Services at 3pm. The former narrowly won 13-10 in their first round league matchup. Note that all games will be played at the Matsapha Police Academy on both days. There will be two games preceding this debacle with the full fixtures as confirmed by the MRPA while the prize breakdown is yet to be released.
