Times Of Swaziland: NEDBANK VOLLEYBALL CHAMPS TO NET E6 000 NEDBANK VOLLEYBALL CHAMPS TO NET E6 000 ================================================================================ BY CHRIS DLAMINI on 17/05/2019 03:53:00 MBABANE – The team to ‘See money differently’ than the rest, will walk home with E6 000 as champions of the Nedbank Volleyball League. The second edition of the Nedbank-sponsored elite league covering male and female clubs kicked off last Saturday at Bosco Skills Centre along with its official launch – E50 000 is the package once again. This means the custodians of the league, Eswatini National Volleyball Association (ENVA) have done well to retain the sponsorship, consequently retaining the cash prizes as in the first edition. Won Sterling Correctional Services male and female teams won the league titles last season and have also shown signs in their first match against runners-up and closest challengers Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) they mean business once again. They thumped their rivals 3-0 in both league categories – who will stop them as they begin their titles’ defence? Runners-up will pocket E3 000 while it will be E1 500 for third place in all categories. ENVA Management Committee Secretary Eric Zwane confirmed the prize breakdown and thanked the sponsor for maintaining their partnership with the sport as it is growing in leaps and bounds. However, at the time of compiling this report, fixtures for this weekend had not yet been finalised.
