Times Of Swaziland: BULL, WESLIANS FACE OFF BULL, WESLIANS FACE OFF ================================================================================ BY NTOKOZO MAGONGO on 06/12/2018 05:19:00 MBABANE – It will be a battle of the titans when wounded sides, Mbabane Highlanders and Manzini Wanderers face off in the MTN Premier League first round closing games this weekend. The crunch match is billed for Saturday at Mavuso Sports Centre, where Mbabane Swallows will first host Tambuti in an earlier kick-off. The main match of the day between the two rivals will kick-off at 4pm. Highlanders are fresh from a 1-2 defeat by Moneni Pirates, while Manzini Wanderers lost 1-4 to Manzini Sea Birds on Sunday at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium. Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) CEO Simanga Nhleko released the fixtures yesterday. Both teams need the points most. Highlanders want to end the first round on a high note and continue piling pressure on first round winners, Green Mamba. Wanderers, who are in the 12th spot with 12 points after the same number of games, are no longer safe from the relegation battle. Green Mamba, who are E350 000 richer after ending the first round on top of the table, will play Royal Leopard in the forces derby on Sunday at Killerney Sports Ground, Pigg’s Peak, with the game starting at 3:30pm. Meanwhile, the pending fixtures for CAF envoys, Young Buffaloes and Mbabane Swallows will be played on Wednesday evening at Somhlolo National Stadium. Young Buffaloes will host Tambuti at 6:30pm and defending champions, Mbabane Swallows will play Manzini Sundowns at 8:30pm.
