Times Of Swaziland: ‘SPUTLA’ REJOINS HUB SUNDOWNS ‘SPUTLA’ REJOINS HUB SUNDOWNS ================================================================================ BY CHRIS DLAMINI on 10/08/2018 03:47:00 MBABANE – There is no place like home. That is the situation for coach Mlamuli ‘Sputla’ Zwane, whose time with the First Division League outfit back in 2002 saw him lift the second edition of the SwaziBank Cup in 2005. He was last attached with relegated Red Lions, who could not take the elite pressure last season. “His mandate is to give us those joyous days back again. He must take us back to the elite league and also win one major tournament, be it SwaziBank Cup or the Ingwenyama Cup,” confirmed the club’s Managing Director and Manzini’s Member of Parliament (MP) nominee Steve Horton yesterday. Horton said Zwane was handed a one-year renewable contract and all parties were satisfied about it. “He’s bringing in value and experience, so we’re pleased to welcome him back home. This is where he won a cup and we believe with him, we can do it again,” he explained. However, no financial details of the deal were shared as Horton felt that was always confidential between the concerned parties. Efforts to get Zwane’s comment proved futile at the time. Zwane, who joined Red Lions last September, also did not stay long with Emabhubesi as at the time of relegation, Dumisani Mhlanga was in charge. Zwane also worked with big clubs like Mbabane Highlanders, Mbabane Swallows and Moneni Pirates among others.
