Times Of Swaziland: OVER 1 000 AT CHARITY CUP ROADSHOW OVER 1 000 AT CHARITY CUP ROADSHOW ================================================================================ BY MTHUNZI MAZIYA on 08/07/2018 07:48:00 SITEKI – Over 1 000 people flocked to Siteki Park for a fiesta of a show as the Charity Cup hit the road for the first time yesterday. The crowd enjoyed a variety of performances from different groups including Shongwe and Khuphuka Saved Group, dances by various other groups, speeches from team captains and PROs, and question and answer sessions that led to some winning Charity Cup merchandise in the form of T-shirts, water bottles and caps. Programme Director was Swaziland Post and Telecommunications’ Muntu Dlamini who thanked those who attended and urged everyone to support the Charity Cup. “We are happy to see so many people here at our first roadshow. It shows that this is a tournament for the people, and together we will make a difference to the lives of those in need,” he said. Mbabane Highlanders Chief Executive Officer Celcolo ‘Dino’ Dlamini said the role played by SPTC in football was big. “We encourage people to support SPTC by buying their products so that they continue supporting the Charity Cup,” he said. Mbabane Swallows General Manager Sandile ‘Beyond 2000’ Zwane echoed Dlamini’s words, and said as Swallows, they would address the nation at large, not just their supporters, because they have grown to represent the whole country.
