Matsapha Government Primary School’s Under 13s continued their dominance in the Swaziland Royal Insurance Corporation (SRIC)-Scara Thindwa Foundation tournament, with a crushing 9-0 victory over their counterparts from Hlutse Primary. The game was played at Manzini Club yesterday. Matsapha’s Captain, Sentelweyinkhosi Dube helped himself to five goals, to increase his tally in the tournament to eight, after only two matches for his team. The game was already a no contest by the end of the first half. Matsapha’s gifted attacking trio of Sibahle Gadlela, Vumokuhle Dube and Sentelweyinkhosi toyed around with their opponents before finding the net with some polished shots. All three players are part of premier league side, Royal Leopards’ development teams. Hlutse Primary, on the other hand, had little to offer in the match, as they struggled to deal with the skill of their opponents. They were further let down by playing barefoot, when Matsapha’s players all paraded a full soccer gear. Matsapha led 3-0 at half time with goals from Sibahle as early as the 10th minute, before a quick double from Sentelweyinkhosi in the 15th and 16th minutes, respectively. At the start of the second half, attacks were focussed mainly on Hlutse’s goal, with goalkeeper Sanele Dlamini doing well to stop Matsapha from burying his team under an avalanche. Captain Sentelweyinkhosi added another goal in the 50th, before a classy free kick from Vumokuhle in the 61st minute made it 6-0. Further goals from Sentelweyinkhosi in the 62nd and 68th minute deflated Hlutse, including a rasping shot from Vumokuhle in the 65th, which virtually put the game to bed.
