KUKHANYA PLEDGES  CONTINUED SUPPORT

MBABANE – Kukhanya Civil Engineering Contractors has pledged support for the
fifth edition of the Kukhanya Road Classic cycle race.
The General Manager, Sibusiso Ngcamphalala, speaking during the prize
presentation at Lavumisa Traffic Circle on Saturday, said they were pleased with
their partnership with the Cycling Association of Swaziland (CAS). “We are
very happy with how the event went and we are looking forward to sponsoring it
even next year. This event has grown in leaps and bounds over the years. It has
produced competitive cyclists who can represent the country in international
competitions,” Ngcamphalala said.
He further said cycling as a sport was not only for recreational purposes but
also enhances a healthy lifestyle. Meanwhile, Lavumisa Town Board Mayor Mavela
Shongwe applauded all the stakeholders who ensured that the event was a success.
“We want to thank the sponsors, schools, cyclists clubs and Lavumisa community
who all worked together for the success of the fourth edition of the race. We
want to promise CAS that we will have a large participation in the next
edition,” Shongwe said.
CAS President Sihlangu Nhlabatsi thanked the title sponsor, Kukhanya Civil
Engineering Contractors, and other supporting partners. “Without the support
from Royal Eswatini Police, Emergency Medical Services, Schools, Community, and
all the sponsors that contributed toward  the success of the race, the event
would not have been a success. We do hope that next year’s event will be
bigger and better,” Nhlabatsi said.
