Times Of Swaziland: CORRECTIONAL, REPS CRUISE IN SBS NETBALL LEAGUE CORRECTIONAL, REPS CRUISE IN SBS NETBALL LEAGUE ================================================================================ BY ASHMOND NZIMA on 18/06/2018 08:57:00 LOBAMBA – Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS)have maintained their flawless run in the SBS Netball League at the expense of fellow security forces side USDF. The police outfit won by 65-29 to cement the top spot in the Swaziland Building Society (SBS) clash played at Olympafrica Sports Development Centre in Lobamba on Saturday. The win kept REPS three points clear of rivals Correctional, who are playing catch-up since the derby defeat about two months ago. Correctional were also in action on the day and beat Mbabane Raiders by 50-26 to keep the league title race wide open after week two in the second round of the seven-team league.Olympafrica, on the other hand, completed a double over winless RSSC following a 59-28 win. The latter are in danger of completing the season without a win, as four matches are left before the curtain falls on the league. The results were confirmed by National Netball Association of Swaziland (NNAS) Management Committee Chairperson Bongiwe Gamedze. Like in previous seasons, it is a two-horse race between RSP and Correctional in the battle for the championship. The latter are the defending champions, but need to avenge the 30-32 setback suffered in the reverse fixture to tighten their grip on the trophy. The decider will be played on a date still to be confirmed.
