Times Of Swaziland: SWALLOWS IN SWAZIBANK U-20 FINALS SWALLOWS IN SWAZIBANK U-20 FINALS ================================================================================ BY SANELE JELE on 16/04/2018 09:58:00 LOBAMBA – You may call it scrappy, but a win is a win. That is how one can sum up Mbabane Swallows’ under 20 4-2 win over resilient Tambuti yesterday here. The tightly contested encounter had to be decided in penalties.Tambuti’s Vuyo Matsenjwa had a chance to make it 3-3 but he missed the target with the goalkeeper Qiniso Nyawo well beaten. Swallows’ Ncwala Dlamini did the honours of sealing the victory for the Lwazi Dlamini-led charges, scoring the fifth penalty to make it 4-2.Qiniso Nyawo,Mthunzi Dlamini and Njabulo Mnisi had converted from the spot for the ‘Birds’ with Mfanasibili only missing the target. Tambuti’s Mlungisi Gumedze, Solomon Shongwe netted the two penalties with Sicelo Sihlongonyane and Matsenjwa missing the target. The junior ‘Birds’ will face-off with Young Buffaloes in the finals of the ‘Uyayifuna na?’ dubbed cup. The army side managed to beat last year’s champions, Royal Leopard 4-2 after penalties. Tambuti coach, Ishmael Zwane blamed the loss to stage fright. On the other hand, Swallows mentor Lwazi Dlamini is not a happy man following that his team have not scored a goal inside 90 minutes in all their games. During the group stages, they played Young Buffaloes and Manzini Wanderers to a goal-less draw. In the quarter-finals, Swallows won 4-3 after playing to a 0-0 draw with Green Mamba. “Despite that we won today I am worried about my team that we are not scoring, at the same time it’s good that we do not concede. However, I have to work on how we can score goals and if that is fixed we can win the tournament,” Dlamini said.
