Times Of Swaziland: THREE LEOPARD STARS OUT OF FINAL THREE LEOPARD STARS OUT OF FINAL ================================================================================ BY ASHMOND NZIMA on 23/03/2018 23:43:00 MBABANE – Up to three key Royal Leopard players will not feature in tomorrow’s epic Ingwenyama Cup final. Striker Sifiso Matse, midfielder Junior Magagula and full-back Mlamuli Msibi are not eligible to face Mbabane Swallows in the pulsating decider after featuring in the early stages of competition for different teams. They were signed during the January Transfer Window from Manzini Wanderers, Moneni Pirates and Vovovo, respectively. The players are cup-tied as per the dictates of Article 4.2 of the prestigious tournament’s rules and regulations. “A player shall not be eligible to play for more than one club in the competition,” reads the article in part. The players have been featuring regularly at Leopard since the switch from their respective sides. Leopard PRO Frank Hurube confirmed the developments, but said it would do little to dampen the spirit of the team. “The rest of the players are capable of doing the required job. “The team is in good shape. Supporters should come in numbers, as we don’t want to disappoint,” said Hurube. The two sides have a date in what will be a repeat of the 2016 final, which was won by the red and white ensemble by 2-0. Finding the back of the net were Njabulo ‘D4D’ Ndlovu and Banele ‘Pupu’ Sikhondze. The game, which is a major highlight of the festivities to be blended with culture, will get underway at 3:30pm. Entrance fee is only E40. Efforts to get comments from the players were fruitless by late yesterday.
