Times Of Swaziland: ‘BIRDS’ MABILA TOPS SUSPENDED STARS’ LIST ‘BIRDS’ MABILA TOPS SUSPENDED STARS’ LIST ================================================================================ BY CHRIS DLAMINI on 14/02/2018 00:48:00 MBABANE – With the MTN League title race taking centre stage tomorrow between defending champions Mbabane Swallows and Young Buffaloes, the former will be without defender Sifiso Mabila. They play different opposition but at the same time with Swallows against Midas City and Buffaloes against Green Mamba at 6:30pm, respectively. Mabila, who did not have the best of games in Maseru’s Setsoto Stadium despite his club winning the first leg of the CAF Champions League against Bantu FC, will be out of tonight’s clash. He has been nabbed by the yellow card rule and becomes Swallows’ second player in three weeks to be suspended by the PLS. However, his suspension should not be much headache for coach Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati whose unbeaten side play First Division-bound Midas City as it seems only a miracle can save them now – all it takes is one more defeat and they are gone. “Mabila is out along with Matsapha United’s Jimoh Moses and Manzini Sundowns’ defender Paito Dube,” confirmed PLS COO Pat Vilakati. He said for this week’s games, it was only those three who were found to have accumulated three yellow cards which is a match suspension. Swallows’ General Manager Sandile Zwane also confirmed the defender would not play a role in their game with City. Swallows, who are four points ahead of second-placed Buffaloes with six games remaining, will then shift focus to the CAF Champions League second leg match with Bantu FC at Somhlolo National Stadium next Wednesday, 4pm.
