Times Of Swaziland: VICTOR REGISTERED MB. SWALLOWS AS COMPANY VICTOR REGISTERED MB. SWALLOWS AS COMPANY ================================================================================ BY INVESTIGATIONS TEAM on 04/02/2018 00:16:00 MBABANE – The fate of the biggest team in Swaziland; Mbabane Swallows FC, currently lies with beneficiaries of Victor Gamedze’s estate. This is because the team solely belonged to Gamedze who was the chairman of the illustrious football club. Victor tragically passed away on January 14, 2018 at the GALP Filling Station in Ezulwini. He was shot twice in the back of his head in full view of the public. He is survived by his wife, Princess Lungile and four children: Ngeti, Tiyandza, Tema and Gift. The club was registered by the shrewd businessman as his company in December 2016 and according to records from the registrar of companies in possession of the Times SUNDAY, he was the only legal director. Fans and officials who are involved in the running of the club will have to wait until the reading of the businessman’s last will and testament before knowing what will happen to their beloved club. All this has come to light just as a number of people were wondering what will happen to the club as the chairman, who seems to have been the glue that held it together, is no more. The club is considered one of Gamedze’ many companies. That is according to the Swaziland Companies Act No 8 of 2009. Gamedze gained sole ownership of the club in December 20, 2016. A letter written by the Registrar General’s office informed the director of Mbabane Swallows Football Club (Proprietary) Limited has been registered and incorporated in terms of the Swaziland Companies Act No 8 of 2009 as from December 20, 2016 under certificate of Incorporation No. 2592 of 2016. “Enclosed pleased find the memorandum and Articles of the Association and the two/three Certified True Copies and the Certificate of Incorporation all stamped as necessary”
