A START OF BETTER THINGS TO COME – ‘PROFESSOR’

LOBAMBA – A joyous Mbabane Highlanders coach, Mlungisi ‘Professor’ Ngubane
has described the 6-0 win over hapless Midas City as a start of better things to
come for the fallen country’s football aristocrats.
The South African mentor said after acquiring the services of the two
countrymen, Thabiso Mokenkoane and Mthobisi Mngomezulu, who both scored a brace
apiece, the jigsaw puzzle was being completed at the ‘Black Bull’ kraal.
“We have been missing strikers who can finish off the chances we were creating
and the two boys came in and scored two goals each. We just need a good winger
now but I am happy with our performance tonight,” he said.
He said the win over Midas City irrespective of their form and position, was
important for Highlanders.
“We need the win to bring back belief in the team and also make our supporters
happy as they have been supporting us throughout,” he added.
Inspite of being mathematically one game away from being relegated, Midas City
coach, Isaiah ‘Ice’ Dlamini though admitting subtly was still adamant his
side can fight to live another day.
“I think we started wrongly, wanting to beat Highlanders yet we should have
played our normal game. I don’t think we will make it but I won’t throw in
the towel yet, we still have six games to play,” Dlamini said, obviously
clutching at straws.
